Stoke Fleming is a charming typical devon caostal village. It has an excellent local pub - The Green Dragon - serving good home cooked food and ales. In winter there is a welcoming log fire.

The cottage is an approximate 15 minute walk to the award winning blue flag beach, Blackpool Sands

The local Post Office stocks newspapers and magazines and has an excellent range of fresh local foods and vegetables, fresh baked bread and pies, wines and general groceries.

From Easter until the end of Summer the fish restaurant - "Brill Plaice" -serves locally caught fresh fish and seafood, togther with locally sourced meat.

The village church - St Peter's - has services every Sunday morning.

The village hall is home to the local library which has interent access during opening times.
